Terms and Conditions for Becoming an Approved Tutor

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions establish the agreement between TQual AB, a UK-based awarding body, and individuals applying for approval as Tutors. By submitting an application to become an Approved Tutor, you agree to adhere to these Terms.

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for approval as a Tutor, you must:

  • Demonstrate proficiency and experience in delivering educational content.
  • Hold the required qualifications and certifications relevant to the specific TQual program.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Application Process

To apply for Approved Tutor status, you are required to:

  • Complete and submit the official application form provided by TQual.
  • Provide documentation verifying your qualifications and relevant experience.
  • Showcase your ability to effectively deliver TQual-approved content.

TQual reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its discretion.

4. Approval Period

If your application is successful, TQual may grant approval for a defined period. Renewal of approval will depend on continued compliance with these Terms, successful delivery of educational content, and meeting any additional criteria set by TQual.

5. Responsibilities of Approved Tutors

As an Approved Tutor, you agree to:

  • Deliver educational content following TQual’s standards and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with changes to TQual’s curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Maintain ethical practices and a professional attitude in all engagements.
  • Notify TQual of any changes to your qualifications or circumstances that might affect your approval status.

6. Quality Assurance

TQual retains the right to evaluate and monitor the quality of the educational content delivered by Approved Tutors. This may involve assessments, reviews of teaching materials, and learner feedback. Failure to meet quality standards may lead to revocation of approval.

7. Intellectual Property

Approved Tutors are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use TQual’s intellectual property strictly for delivering authorized educational content. Any unauthorized use or reproduction of TQual’s intellectual property is prohibited.

8. Fees and Payments

Approved Tutors may be required to pay fees related to approval, renewal, and other services offered by TQual. Specific details of these fees and payment terms will be communicated separately.

9. Termination of Approval

TQual reserves the right to revoke a Tutor’s approval for reasons including, but not limited to, non-compliance with these Terms, breach of intellectual property rights, or failure to uphold quality standards.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
